 Join Exploring as seen on KHQA Exploring is a unique career exploration program for young men and women in middle school or ages 14-20. It provides students with an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of career fields and network with professionals already working in those fields. Youth get hands-on experience to determine whether or not a particular career field is right for them. Below are a list of opportunities for youth in the tri-state area.

 Military Popcorn Day - November 5th
The Mississippi Valley Council salute our active military and veterans. Our Scouts will be out on Saturday November 5th and invite you to stop by the following locations to make a donation which will help send Popcorn to our military men and women, their families, and veterans organizations. While you are making a donation to our military, pick up some Popcorn for yourself and help fund a Scout's adventure!

Charter Renewal  The Internet Rechartering system is now open! All Units should log on using the information in your specific Charter Renewal packet and complete the online process, gather the signatures, and submit at or before the November Roundtable.
 Council Annual Dinner Mark your calendars for the Council Annual Dinner! Celebrate the accomplishments of 2016 and honor the Silver Beaver recipients.
Council Coordinated Meeting  Save the date for the Council Coordinated Meeting. Council VPs, Council Committee members and District Committee Members are invited to this afternoon-long planning session with special guest Kevin Dowling, the General Manager of Philmont Scout Ranch.
