ANNUAL

 

JTE Patrol Method/JTE Budget--PLC meets at least 4-10 times a year and includes an annual planning meeting. PLC meetings are held. PLC regularly reviews troop budget.
JTE Fitness—Troop plans a fitness competition and has members track their progress
JANUARY JTE Advancement/Courts of Honor—Has troop planned for 4 Courts of Honor including one before May 4 which includes FOS presentation to qualify for camp savings plan.  Review scout advancement progress quarterly.
JTE Budget—Do an evaluation with Scouts to see what they liked during the year, what they want to do in the future, etc. & figure activities in to unit budget.  Review budget @ monthly PLC & troop committee mtgs.
FEBRUARY JTE Trained Leadership—Review troop ldr training records and schedule trainings as needed (OLS, Specific Ldr, Youth Protection)
JTE Service Project—Has troop planned 6 service projects for 2012 and has a plan to record hours on Good Turn for America (Includes Eagle Projects)
MARCH JTE Membership/JTE Webelos to Scout Transition—Has troop planned a spring recruiting activity including one that involves area Webelos and has a troop parent Orientation & Camp promo
JTE Service Project—Scouting for Food (record hours on Good Turn for America)
JTE Fitness—Spring is coming! Troop has planned a physical activity such as hiking, bicycling, etc?
APRIL JTE Advancement/Courts of Honor—Has troop planned for 4 Courts of Honor including one before May 4 which includes FOS presentation to qualify for camp savings plan.
JTE Advancement—Review scout advancement progress quarterly.
JTE Patrol Method—At least one scout has committed to attending NYLT.
JTE Service Project—Earth day activities (record hours on Good Turn for America)
MAY JTE Trained Leadership—Troop Committee completes committee challenge online or at a training.
JTE Fitness—Troop coordinates and promotes fitness program?
JUNE JTE Service Project—Has troop planned 6 service projects for 2012 and has a plan to record hours on Good Turn for America (Includes Eagle Projects & Tribe/OA work days)
JULY JTE Webelos to Scout Transition—pack/troop have planned an activity between now and Oct. 31st?  
AUG JTE Advancement/Courts of Honor—Has troop planned for 4 Courts of Honor
 JTE Trained Leadership—Review troop ldr training records and schedule trainings as needed (OLS, Specific Ldr, Youth Protection)
JTE Advancement—Review scout advancement progress quarterly.
JTE Budget—Budget is presented to committee/parents/scouts before Aug 31st includes popcorn sales, camp cards, activity expense, etc. 
SEPT JTE Membership/JTE Webelos to Scout Transition—Has troop planned a fall recruiting activity including one that involves area Webelos
JTE Trained Leadership—Confirm Troop Committee completes committee challenge online or at a training.
OCT JTE Advancement—Review scout advancement progress quarterly.
JTE Service Project—Has troop planned 6 service projects for 2012 and has a plan to record hours on Good Turn for America (Includes Eagle Projects & Tribe/OA work days)
JTE Register on Time—Conduct a membership inventory; collect necessary dues; determine who will be rechartering with your unit.  Collect new apps as necessary.  Make sure scouts that are turning 18 have completed adult app and Youth Protection.
NOV JTE Register on Time—Complete online rechartering by Nov. RT and bring recharter to RT.
DEC JTE Advancement/Courts of Honor—Has troop planned for 4 Courts of Honor including one before May 4 which includes FOS presentation to qualify for camp savings plan.
