| You may pay your 2008 Dues at either Scout Office. The 2007 OA membership cards were inserted in the Summer Issue of the Hawk Tales and were mailed to every Black Hawk Lodge Member on July 18, 2007. The 2008 Membership Cards will be mailed in the Summer Issue of the 2008 Hawk Tales. Thanks to everyone who has updated their 2008 membership and the $10 fee is applied until December 31, 2007.

Purpose of the Order of the Arrow
The purpose of the Order of the Arrow is fourfold:
- To recognize those Scout campers who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives
- To develop and maintain camping traditions and spirit
- To promote Scout camping
- To crystallize the Scout habit of helpfulness into a life purpose of leadership in cheerful service to others
