Greetings from
Charles Call
your District Executive

Thank you for all the assistance and help that was given during the Tiger Prowl in May & June. We had wonderful success and will be providing many new boys great opportunities in the Scouting program.

The Walk for Camps in Cherokee was extraordinary this year. The units nearly doubled the District Walk campaign amount compared to 2008. Thanks again to all the volunteers and the work that they put forth this Spring.

  Roundtable

The Roundtable will continue to be held in Griggsville on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. If there is a change in location, you will be contacted with the information.

Training

Please let the District Training Chairman know if you have a need in training within your unit leadership. Marshal Harroun is our Cherokee Training Chairman who will be willing to come to your community and train your volunteers and leaders. He can be contacted at 217.335.2152. Training is a key to success in having a quality program.
