2019 Eagle Valley Spring Camporee
WHO: All Scouting America Troops are invited to participate.
WHEN: April 5 – April 7. Arrive after 5:00 p.m. on Friday and depart by 11:00 a.m. on Sunday
FEES: Youth under 18 $18.00; Adults $14.00 Late registration after April 2, 2019: Youth under 18 $23.00; Adults $19.00
WHAT TO BRING: Troop and personal camping equipment. Proper equipment and clothing for the weather. Each unit attending will need to bring your Health and Medical forms and a roster of those attending with email addresses. Food for meals, other than Saturday night which will be provided. Field Uniform. Optional T-shirt to screen print (ink will be black).
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: Medical form must be present on campgrounds. Roster of Scouts in Camp to be submitted upon arrival. Emails are required. Rosters will be checked upon arrival.
ACTIVITIES: Various Native American cultural displays, demonstrations and events. Competition events include Tomahawk throwing, atlatl, knife throwing, action archery. Fire building using primitive techniques, long bow making demonstration, regalia concepts and construction. Indian fry bread available for purchase during the afternoon. Drum and dancing (try your hand at the drum).
