Council Training Day – Quincy

Note: Training on this day is being held in the same place and same date as the Merit Badge Conference; so bring Scouts and stay for some great training.
9:00 – 11:30 – Cub Leader Specific – meets requirements for Cubmaster & Den Leader – including Assistants and Committee positions. Will include topics about advancement, recruiting, annual planning, planning den meetings and pack meetings, special events, solving your problems, etc. Cubmasters and Den Leaders need to complete online Weather Hazard training on my.scouting.org to be considered fully trained for those positions.
9:00 – 11:30 – Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific – Meets the classroom instruction training requirements for Scoutmasters & Assistant Scoutmasters. In addition, Webelos Leaders and those youth turning 18 years old in 2020 are encouraged to attend this training. You will need to complete IOLS (Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills) and the online Weather Hazard training on my.scouting.org to be considered a fully trained Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster. IOLS is scheduled for April 25-26, 2020.
9:00 – 11:30 – Unit Commissioner Training
11:30 – 1:00 – Lunch
1:00 – 4:00 – Committee Training
