Wilderness First Aid
Wilderness First Aid is the assessment of and treatment given to an ill or injured person in a remote environment where definite care of a physician and/or rapid transport is not readily available. In this wilderness first aid class, students will learn how to assess, treat and, when possible, prevent medical and traumatic emergencies within the scope of their training.
DATES: February 27 & 28, 2021
TIME: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day
LOCATION: Camp Eastman
COST: $50/student
PREREQUISITE: Current CPR/AED Certification required for course completion.
REGISTRATION: Pre-registration guarantees placement in class. Please register below.
Mississippi Valley Council registered Scouts/Scouters will have priority placement for this class.
ASHI Wilderness First Aid course meets the Scouting America Mississippi Valley Council Wilderness First Aid guidelines for all high adventure bases.
