2023 Wilderness First Aid Course

Wilderness First Aid is the assessment of and treatment given to an ill or injured person in a remote environment where definite care of a physician and/or rapid transport is not readily available. In this wilderness first aid class, students will learn how to assess, treat and, when possible, prevent medical and traumatic emergencies within the scope of their training.

DATES:  March 25-26 2023

TIME:  8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day

LOCATION:  Camp Eastman

COST:  $55/student

PREREQUISITE:  Current CPR/AED Certification required for course completion.

REGISTRATION:  Pre-registration guarantees placement in class. Please register below.

Mississippi Valley Council registered Scouts/Scouters will have priority placement for this class. Limited to 20 participants.

ASHI Wilderness First Aid course meets the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid guidelines for all high adventure bases.
