SCOUTStrong Be MedWise Award

The Mississippi Valley Council is offering Be MedWise Educational Training on the Safe Use of Over-the-Counter Medicines online on Tuesday, May 12th at 7:00 p.m.  Simply click on the link below to register for this event.  You will need to register prior to the online course.  Deadline to register is Sunday, May 10th.

The Scouting America Mississippi Valley Council and the National Council on Patient Information and Education (NCPIE) developed the SCOUTStrong “Be MedWise” Award as an interactive way to educate members of the Scouting America program, the Venturing program and American youth in general about the benefits of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and the harm that they can cause if they are misused. This award is designed to compliment existing Scouting America and Venturing programming. This curriculum has been prepared specifically for ages 11-17 and each lesson must be followed specifically as written.
