2019 COPE/Climbing Tower Training
Training Schedule
Friday 6-9 pm – Saukenauk Scout Reservation – Meet at the Dining Hall
Saturday 9 am-7 pm – SSR Climbing Tower/Zip Line
Sunday 9 am-4 pm – Camp Eastman COPE Course
Schedule may vary, additional details will be provided Friday night.
Who may attend: Any adult or older Scout who is interested in becoming certified to lead/assist in the operations of our COPE/Climbing Courses. First time attendees will be earning their COPE Instructor Certification which allows them to assist in running our courses and is the first step toward earning the Director Certification.
Things to Bring: Personal gear for 3 days of camping in cabins. Completed Scouting America Medical form.
Youth Protection: Adult leaders attending must have their youth protection up to date.
Meal Expense: We are asking a free will donation to help cover the cost of meals provided (Friday snack, Saturday Breakfast, Lunch & Supper, Sunday Breakfast & Lunch) of at least $10.00 per participant.
