Available August 15, 2008, the new Centennial Boy Scout uniform marks its first redesign since the early 1980's. The uniform is available in cotton-rich canvas or in Supplex nylon, a cotton-soft, yet highly durable, moisture-control fabic that wicks away moisture in the hottest of conditions, dries quickly, and offers SPF 50+ sun protection.

(Scouts are not required to buy the new centennial uniform, and all Scouts may continue to wear their old ones until new ones are needed.)
