2024 Youth Sporting Clays for Scouting
We invite you to join us for a fun-filled day of shooting sports. This unique youth community fundraising event will help to ensure that approximately 1,300 young people along the Mississippi River continue to receive the best Scouting program possible. For the first time we are opening our Sporting Clays Course at Saukenauk Scout Reservation to Youth in the communities!
This event will offer teams of 4 the opportunity to compete on a 10 station course with several different hunting simulations such as; rabbit and springing teal among others!
- Teams of 4—$100 each or $400 Team
- Shooters must provide their own shells (100 shells each person)
- Lunch and snacks provided
- Awards for top individual shooter for 13u, 15u, 18u, top female, top male, top team.
- Hold Harmless must be completed by parent or guardian prior to event
- All registrants must provide proof of hunter safety completion with registration.
- Parents/Guardians/Coaches are encouraged to bring UTV, Golf Carts or ATV to transport youth across stations. Youth will not be allowed to drive any UTV, ATV, or Golf Carts.
- 4 Seat Golf Carts available by request for an additional fee in advance by contacting Kristal at the Scout Office (golf cart reservations must be submitted no later than April 22, 2024)
- ALL youth ages 11-18 can compete
