Bowling Event:

Join us May 11th, at Arrowhead Bowl,  3535 Main Street, Keokuk, IA at 3:45 PM. Participating is easy! Form a team of 2-5. Remember, it’s not about how good you can bowl… it’s about having fun to help the kids. Team Captains can download the packet below, register online below, or call the Scout office. Sign up as many sponsors as you can before Friday. We ask that each team member raise at least $20 in pledges to bowl, and $40 in pledges for a free T-Shirt. GRAND PRIZE! The more money you raise, the more times you’re entered in our Grand Prize Drawing for a Large Screen TV, $65 in pledges gets you one entry, $90 for two entries, and so on. All proceeds support local Scouts and Career Explorers.

How You’re Supporting Local Scouting & Career Explorers: This event raises the funds necessary to provide a full Scouting program to Scouts in Lee County. Throughout the Scouting America Mississippi Valley Council from Cub Scouting to Venturing, all programs use responsible outdoor activities to promote character development and values-based leadership training. Each year, at-risk and underprivileged young people in Scouting receive financial support at a cost to the Mississippi Valley Council.  The local council relies on donations, directly or through special events to ensure each Scout is able to fully participate in the program.
